Bowsette was a meme fan character that gained popularity in 2018 whose character design is a mix of Princess Beach and Bowser.

History
- 2017-12-29: 水龍敬 (Pixiv) publishes an erotic comic 「亀堕桃姫。」 which features Princess Peach with a character design very similar to that which would later be used by haniwa in 2018 which later turned into the Bowsette meme.[1]
- 2018-09-19: A webcomic haniwa (Twitter: @ayyk92) begins the meme.[2]
