Dragonflight (novel)

Dragonflight is a 1968 science fiction novel by Anne McCaffrey and is the first novel in the Dragonriders of Pern series. The novel contains two earlier novellas, titled Weyrsearch and Dragonrider. Weyrsearch won a Hugo Award in 1968 while Dragonrider won a Nebula Award in 1969.
