- 2019-02-14: Red Hat argues dstat is unmaintained and rewrites to work with their own Performance Co-Pilot framework.[1]
- 2019-05-22: Original developer Dag Wieers resigns from maintaining the dstat repository after Red Hat Linux published a rewritten replacement in the same namespace without Wieers's approval.[2]
