Israel is a Jewish colony turned ethnostate created in Palestine by Zionist supporters, such as Britain, the Soviet Union, France, and the United States, to provide sovereign land to Jews displaced by World War II. The colonization of Palestine displaced local Palestinian peoples leading to decades of conflict.
