Native American Preparatory School

Native American Preparatory School was a college preparatory school founded by Richard P. Ettinger Jr. in 1995 to educate native american students from a variety of tribes with the goal of preparing them for entering competitive universities such as Dartmouth College. The school closed in 2002. The school was located between South San Ysidro, New Mexico and North San Ysidro, New Mexico.

- 1995-09: College-preparatory high school founded near Santa Fe, NM[cmt 1] by Richard P. Ettinger Jr., of Prentice Hall wealth. The location hosts an ongoing program by Cushing Academy.
- 1995-11-27: The New York Times writes an article covering the school's first few months of operation. A small student riot in 1995-09, shortly after the school opened, is noted. [1]
